About the Company:

Sydney Ultrasound for Women (SUFW) is a diagnostic ultrasound medical practice primarily devoted to meeting the needs of women at various stages of their lives. All the doctors are specialist Obstetricians and gynaecologists (O&G) who have further specialised in ultrasound, high-risk obstetrics and reproductive genetics. SUFW is part of the Monash IVF Group. Monash IVF Group employs more than 650 passionate staff together with over 100 doctors across its 20 Australian fertility clinics and 17 ultrasound practices.

About the role:

Reporting to the Sonographer Coordinator, this position exists to perform high quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans.

In this role you will:

  • Provide patients with exceptional care and support
  • Produce high quality scans
  • Follow established protocols
  • Ensure effective communication is delivered to internal stakeholders and patients
  • Work closely with SUFW multidisciplinary teams

 Ideally, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health science or related discipline
  • Post Graduate qualification in ultrasound scanning
  • ASAR (Australian Sonographer Association Registry) membership
  • RANZCOG certification to perform Nuchal Translucency scans
  • Highly skilled in all facets of clinical and gynaecological scanning
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Superior organisation and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of initiative
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Satisfactory National Police certificate
  • A willingness to fit in and embrace the Monash IVF Group mission and operational principles
